Pan Narrans Artistry, established by Katy Newton in 2017, is a local outfit which provides conceptual, interactive programming for communities by pairing the resources and creative vision of Pan Narrans Artistry with the talents of local artists, musicians, photographers, models and event enthusiasts to create wonderfully engaging and exciting events.
Having provided programming for organizations such as Indiana Recycling Coalition, Big Car Collaborative, Indianapolis City Market, Ruckus Makerspace, Indy Convergence, The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis and other local venues, Pan Narrans has developed a robust event portfolio in less than a year.
Katy is also a developed Fashion Designer and consummate upcycler, specializing in effectively and economically creating ensembles by incorporating a wide range of methodologies and materialism into her designs.
Her creations have been featured by Indy Style, OffBeatBride.com, Eiteljorge Museum, Mid-West Fashion Week, Indy Convergence, La Sardina Pop Up Gallery, Nopal Cultural, Community Theater and other local venues.
In addition to fashion design and creative programming, Katy is a multimedia artist with a diverse skillset including, metalsmithing, comic illustration, painting, photography, paper engineering and digital imaging. Katy holds a BA of Philosophy, Pre-Art Therapy Certification and was recently accepted to the Art Therapy graduate program at Herron School of Art + Design. She is a registered Yoga teacher and leads classes at the local YMCA.
